Erstwhile member of the defunct Nigerian hip hop group, Plantashun Boyz, Black face, has called out music Legend, Tuface for castigating him in his songs and also not crediting him for using his lyrics.
He blamed Tuface for his downfall in the music industry because he was envious of his progress.
Blackface claimed he gave the ‘African queen’ crooner the name ‘Tuface’ because of his two-faced nature towards people’s progress.
His reaction followed a fan’s comment about 2face referring to Blackface in his song ‘Holy-holy’.
On his Instagram page @Blackfacenaija, he wrote: “Now for the record #2faceidibia if I didn’t work with you @official2baba in #plantashunboiz and asked you sing one of the quickest song I ever I wrote #africanqueen you wouldn’t have had a #bighit as it is termed.
“Next to that is my song #letsomebodyloveyou you sang without my permission and your manager @efeomorogbe published it illegally which we will get to the bottom “It’s been me all the time giving you sleepiness nights as you know am a hard knock to crack, all i did was help you tufaced being.
“Of all the artists i worked with why I have a problem with only you is because you’re a lazy artist. despite all your gifts and when you found out I was making new artists famous and i was improving vocally you got jealous and planned the industry to sabotage me and you kept making music about it like one of your lines said “dem never know wetin wan hit dem them” wan follow them” because you and your #creepyagents planned it all.
“The truth is you’re the one filled with hate and envy and you know it that is why I named you #2face OK.
“What’s the name of that club you guys had the meeting again?
“You killed plantashun boiz because of your tufaced nature and same way you wanted doing a protest for your pocket and it was wrong timing.
“I saved you because you for dey for jail but you never grateful but pained over someone growing and development hence una plan make dem no gimme show.
“Well 8years of sabotage and am still here and am still inspiring you and for that even if you hate me you should still be thankful to me still.”
Recall that Eedris Abdulkareem had recently blasted 2face, stating that most of his hits were written by former group mate, Blackface.
Nigerian Afrobeat musician and youngest son of afrobeat legend Fela, Seun Kuti has come out to condemn the reality tv show saying it hasn’t added value in any form to the lives of Nigerians but has rather highlighted our love for senseless consumerism.
He said; “I believe that the fact someone from the Niger Delta won the BBA nonsense is very accurate.”
“I mean what other region has been f*cked by international extractors more?”
“While the majority jubilate when one of them is given peanuts in corrupt returns for their suffering.”
He further added, “Someone has won but the nation stays losing! Another big L for Nigeria and I don’t mean the late talent.”
“When Big Brother’s celebration of senseless consumerism and misdirection gets more young people voting than our national elections and candidates, we just need to raise better people, shikena!! I mean I thought we Fela kids were the ‘no do wells’ and the uncouth! How come we care so much?”
“Re-evaluate yourself. What have you learnt in the past 90 days that you couldn’t have learnt just paying attention to your own life?”
Nollywood Actress Mercy Johnson slam one of her followers on Instagram who attacked her for not campaigning for Debbie-Rise who is from Kogi state.
The follower wrote:
“But Mercy Johnson, you no try o. What is really the minister of entertainment without creating any form of awareness to vote Debby Rise #BBNaija. Yes, she is not Ebira but Kogi Yoruba. Me, am Igala but I am one of her Big fan and went all out in my own way. I didn’t think you did right with that please.”
The mother of two replied her:
“My dear, may you be wise enough to ignore displaying your stupidity on a Pam Sunday like today. Do you and leave me along biko. smh” See screenshot below:
In an exclusive interview with Punch newspaper. Nollywood Actress, Yvonne Jegede Talks Career, Marriage, and many more.
Below are excerpts from the chat;
I was born in Agenebode, Edo State, in 1983 . I had a very wonderful childhood because I come from a loving family and it was fun for me all the way. I always got whatever I wanted and I loved being the centre of attention.
I studied International Relations at a university in Cyprus.
As a child, I wanted to become a beauty queen and win the Miss Nigeria beauty pageant. That was all I looked forward to becoming. However, I never got to participate in any pageant because I wasn’t tall enough.
I never knew that I would become an actress someday. I’m not one of those people that would say that they discovered their talent while in the womb. It wasn’t something that I planned for but along the line, I realise that I was very passionate about it and I decided to take it serious. I got into the industry through Charles Novia, and he was the one that invited me for my first movie role. It was on that set that I met Uzodinma Okpechi, who invited me for the video of 2face’s African Queen.
As is to be expected, they did not like the idea. In those days, most parents didn’t like the idea of their children becoming actors because they felt it was a profession that didn’t have much prospect. But now, they are very proud of me and supportive. They started supporting me when I did a movie for the Redeemed Christian Church of God. My father was attending the church at the time and he was pleased that his daughter was in front of hundreds of thousands of people at the church’s convention ground.
I don’t remember having any challenges apart from going for auditions. I was young at the time; I wasn’t 20 yet when I joined Nollywood.
In Hollywood, I love Meryl Streep. Everybody knows I’m crazy about her and she is my idol. In Nigeria, I love Bimbo Akintola.
I have not been challenged enough yet. I have played almost every character, so there’s really nothing left to do. If you look at it critically, almost every story these days is a version of something that had been written earlier by another person. And this also applies to Hollywood with movies like Batman, Superman and others. However, I once acted as a widow who had to mourn her late husband for a very long period. That script really touched me and I actually cried on set. I can be very daring on set and go to any length to interpret my character but I can never act nude.
Over the years, I have produced two movies titled Three Is Company and Marrying a Campbell. The latter movie has yet to be released.
I thank God that I have a good figure and I have no regrets. However, I like my eyes so much and you can say that they’re my best features. Even though many people feel my big boobs are my selling point, but it is my brain. As for the people insinuating that I did surgery to enlarge my boobs, I have always been this way. People who know me from way back will confirm that I’m naturally endowed.
Bolanle is a very good friend of mine and we’re actually best buddies. We hang out together a lot and we understand each other. People may say whatever they wish to, but nothing awkward has ever happened between us. We are friends and our relationship is still tight.
I feel very happy and blessed in my marriage. I think I married at the perfect time even though I’m in my early 30s. My husband is a very special person and I always say that men like him are very rare. Being married will not affect my career. Meanwhile, my husband is also an actor so he knows the terrain.
I love simplicity and I believe that fashion is a thing of the mind. It’s all about how you carry yourself. Some people might wear designer clothes and still not command attention while others might wear things that are not that expensive and be the cynosure of all eyes. My favourite fashion item is my wristwatch and I cannot do without it.

Folarin Falana, better known by his stage name Falz is a Nigerian rapper, actor, and songwriter has revealed why he prefer communicating in what many refer to as local language in his brand of comedy and music.
Speaking with Sunday Scoop, Falz said that his style is more of mimicking people and not pretence.
He said, “It’s not like I’m pretending to be what I’m not but I like mimicking people and whenever I do that, it causes laughter.
Even the way I speak in my comedy skits is actually how some people talk in real life. I never sat down and decided to start talking that way but it was as a result of my observation and the things I see around me. I can also mimic some other voices too so it’s just a God-given talent. Being local is my selling point as it has brought me fame and fortune.”
On how he combines his acting and singing career, he said, “They are both entertainment and if you do what you love, you wouldn’t consider it to be work.’’
Actress Evia Simon, the self-acclaimed booty queen of Nollywood has declared that Nigerian men love the booty more than boobs.
In a chat with Potpurri, Evia claimed that even fellow women tend to embarrass her over her big bum, recounting an experience where a woman followed her for a distance just to have a feel of her butt to ascertain whether it is real or not.
For the Shandy’s Diary’s seductress, who isn’t so strong on the chest, she believes men tend to love women with big bum than with big boobs. Her simple reason is that, men tend to get more curious about women with big bums. Her words:
“It all depends on the man and his taste in women. Some men prefer boobs to bum while some prefer bum to boobs. But if you look at our Nigerian men these days, most of them go for bum even though their kind of women are slim ones. They still tend to favour and go after women with big bums because of curiosity. Their curiosity over what the bums hold drives them to want to know what lies beneath.”
